Tomales Bay Student Research Grants 2024
The Tomales Bay Foundation (TBF) will award up to $20,000 for research grants in the spring of 2024. Each grant award will be for up to $5000 and may be used for research expenses. The TBF will support research on terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems in Tomales Bay and its watershed including water quality, biology, fire, carbon, invasive species, native species, mapping, inventory, watershed ecology and public and tourist impacts. Recent grants have been awarded for research on eel grass, invasive species, recreational behavior, effects of Phytophthora on rangelands, coyotes, and effects of sea level rise on beaches. To apply for this grant please review the application instructions.. The awardee will be asked to provide an in-person presentation or final report.
